1. Grand City Tour

Passing by the Parliament we cross the Danube through the Margaret-Bridge (Margaret-Island) and drive to the Royal Castle on the Buda side, where we visit the Fishermen’s Bastion (Promenade) and the Matthias Church after we climb to the Gellért Hill (Photostop), we cross Elisabeth-Bridge and drive towards Heroes’ Square (Promenade). Passing by the Opera and St. Stephen’s Basilica we reach Hotel InterContinental, where the tour ends.

2. House of Parliament

Take the opportunity for a visit of the impressive House of Parliament – after a walk around Hungary’s largest building, interior visit of the magnificent neo-gothic Parliament (Home of the Holy Hungarian Crown) with guidance through the splendid session room, the impressive staircase. Tour ends at the Parliament.

The Parliament reserves the right to cancel guided tours without notice on special occasions.

3. Sightseeing Cruise on the Danube

Get acquainted with the highlights of our capital city from the Danube. The tour starts in the downtown. Passing by the imposing building of the Parliament you can admire the panorama of the Margaret Island. The Castle District – the Royal Castle - the Matthias Church - the Fishermen’s Bastion are located on the Castle Hill, the Liberation Monument and the Citadel are on the Gellért Hill. Continuing the tour in the southern direction you can see the bridges of Budapest, the National Theatre, the Palace of Arts. Getting back you can see the universities of Budapest, the Central Market Hall.

The tour ends in the city centre.

We drive along the Danube – visit of the world’s second largest Synagouge, the Dohány street Synagouge and the Jewish Museum (interior visits) – Jewish Garden – Tree of Life – Temple of Heroes – Possibility for lunch in the kosher restaurant – tour ends at the restaurant.

No tour during holidays and on special occasions.

5. Szentendre – Artists’ village

We take you to the picturesque village Szentendre –we visit the magnificent Caprice Hungarian Jewellery Center – Multimedia Presentation -after a walk through the baroque centre of the town, you will have the opportunity to go shopping or to visit the Margit Kovács Ceremaic Museum or the Confectionery Museum (marzipan figures). We return to Budapest on the Danube by boat. The tour ends at the pier int he city centre.

6. Excursion to Gödöllő

7. Spend an unforgettable day in the Puszta

We drive to Kecskemét, (guided walk) and further on to Lajosmizse, where you are welcomed with a traditional Welcome Drink after the great perfromance of the famous horsemen and a carriage ride through the Puszta– a typical hungarian meal (3-course Menu with wine) is served in the „csárda” in the accompaniment of gipsy music. The tour ends in Budapest at your hotel.

8. The illuminated ’Paris of the East’

10. Herend
